    Elmo feels your financial pain.

Seems Elmo’s mom has lost her job, though his dad is still working.

So on a “Sesame Street” special, “Families Stand Together: Feeling Secure in Tough Times,” airing on WTTW-Channel 11 at 8 p.m. Sept. 9, Elmo deals with cutting back.

Elmo will be joined by TV news personalities Al Roker and Deborah Roberts as the 3-year-old monster and his family eat meals at home instead of going out, play games instead of going to the movies and cancel a trip to an amusement park.

The show is aimed at children ages 2 to 8 who are facing difficult economic circumstances. Personal finance expert Jean Chatzky offers advice such as setting realistic spending expectations for children. LIKE GETTING A FUCKING JOB
