His father, Michael Federline is a car mechanic, his mother Julie a former bank teller from Oregon. The namesake “Federline” is of German origin. He is the proud father of three sons, Sean Preston Federline, Kaleb Michael Jackson Federline, and Jayden James Federline, and one daughter, Kori Madison Federline.

He enjoys spending his time with ex-volleyball star Victoria Prince on their recreational bowling team, The Party Animals.
